Hi, I’m Mary! By day, I’m a secondary History teacher, which keeps me very busy. But when the school bell rings and the marking is done, you’ll find me doing what I love most: painting.

Art has been my passion since I was a child. I used to disappear into my room for hours, and honestly, not much has changed since then! Life took me on a detour for about 10 years while I chased after what I thought I was 'supposed' to be doing- school, uni, and work, whilst my art supplies gathered dust. But in 2023, I picked up the paintbrush again, and wow, I am so glad I did!​​​

I had forgotten how much painting fills me with a sense of calm and joy that nothing else can match. I don’t stick to one specific style, I'm all about whatever inspires me in the moment. Whether it’s capturing a landscape from my travels, creating portraits, or experimenting with something new, art is my happy place.

My vision is to bring joy to people's lives through my art, as I balance a busy teaching career. Although time for painting is limited, I truly love art and it is my goal to bring your ideas to life and create pieces that bring you joy.
